Another backpack,  I made this one for Jenny earlier this year…well actually I made two. The first one was too big, Jenny is so mini I had to scale the second one down to fit her! I used a patterned melton wool, made leather buttons for the front pockets and used grey leather my aunt sent me from Ecuador!

I try to upcycle whenever possible when making new pieces. This is an old Coyote coat and a vintage Norwegian sweater I took apart this year to make into some beautiful Sweater mittens. I tend to use Norwegian knits the most, they have such beautiful traditional patterns and they are knit with strong wool that helps keep you especially warm.

It feels funny to say it but as much as I love this warm November air in Toronto I can’t wait for the snow to wear these mittens again!
